About The Blog Awards Challenge

Blogging is evolving into exciting times! Beyond doing it for purely personal reasons, blogs have branched out to be platforms for networking, promotions, and enterprising business. However, regardless of a blog’s nature or motivations it all boils down to writing. Great writing is what distinguishes a blogger to rise above the clutter of cyberspace.

In this spirit The Blog Awards Challenge is born.

The Blog Awards Challenge is a blog competition combining literary skills, interactivity and peer polling. The Blog Awards Challenge is a theme-based writing event for everyone in the blogosphere. A challenge is posted in the site once a month. Bloggers who wish to compete will write about the theme and post the entry in their respective blogs. A panel of regular and revolving set of guest judges will select the best entries out of the submissions. The finalists will be posted in the Blog Awards Challenge website and is open for polling by readers. The winner of the poll will automatically become The Readers Choice Award and the points will contribute in the overall tally for judging to determine the Challenge Winner. (See Competition Rules.)

The Blog Awards Challenge is co-organized by talksmart and loudcloud together with blogging volunteers comprising facilitators, judges and guest judges. The Blog Challenge is designed to be a peer-to-peer recognition and is aimed to promote and recognize good writing from both veteran and new bloggers.
